(More customer reviews)This is a neat toy. My 12 month old daughter LOVES it. It took about a half hour to put together. Overall, the body of this trike is made of sturdy materials so I think it would last if she could already pedal herself. And the center of the wheels is rubber which is much better than plastic on the road. HOWEVER, the yellow part of the tall blue handle is already cracking and I have only owned this two weeks. So I will be returning this item because I know I will be pushing her for at least another 6 months. This is NOT very easy to steer. You have to use two hands so I can't take the dog with us when we go for a walk which is a real bummer. Also, the turning radius is terrible. You need LOTS of room to turn around. That said, my child still loves this and the safety cage with waist belt makes her feel very secure. So, for the price point, I'd probably keep it if the handle wasn't cracking!
