(More customer reviews)These other two reviewers could not be more wrong. One end of the cable is meant to go underneath the saddle and then passed through the loop on the other side of the cable. This creates a noose around your seat. Then, you take the loop on the long end and secure it on a U lock. For those of us that live in a city and have nice seats this a great device for making sure nobody steals your $50 saddle. This is not a bike lock. On the packaging it reads, "...prevents theft of quick-release seats".
