Nirve Rear Cruiser Bike Wheel (Cream, 26 x 1.75, 1-Speed Coaster Brake 14g x 36h)
Average Reviews:

My wife got me the Nirve Cruiser Wheels for my birthday. They came quickly and were packaged really well. They have plastic plates on each of the mounting bolts to make sure that they don't poke through the box, and then the wheel itself has four cardboard supports on each side of it to make sure that it doesn't rub against the inside of the box.
Tires mounted to them easily and fit very well. I'm using some wider than normal tires with Fat Franks and even they have no issues fitting on the wheels.
The only issue with the wheel was the axle bolt was slightly larger than my fork's opening. Nothing a few seconds of grinding didn't fix. It was probably more of an issue with my fork than the wheel, though.
Overall, I'm really happy with the wheel. It looks great and rolls nice and smooth!!
Awesome product for the money.

Average Reviews:

i love this bike and can't say enough good things about, as I am 5' 2" and have had a lot of problems finding a bike that fits my petite frame...this is it! This is identical to L.L. Bean's "Women's Runaround Cruiser Bike", but about 1/2 the price tag. That made this an even better purchase. :-) Hope when you get this bike you'll have as much fun as I am! Just a note though, I had a good boyfriend help me with assembly, as I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever and needed a little help putting the wheels on.

VM Global Dinosaur Train 3-Wheel Scooter Review

VM Global Dinosaur Train 3-Wheel Scooter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
So . . . not sure why my first review of this was not posted. When I recieved the item, it came in a box that had clearly been previously opened. Given that my invoice from amazon was inside the box, it's a given that amazon opened the box. How, upon opening it, they did not realize that the scooter was broken into numerous pieces is beyond me - and why they chose to ship a broken item is another story. This was especially disappointing because the scooter was going to be a birthday gift and we didn't have time to order a replacement and have it arrive in time.
I would give the product a 5 if it wasn't broken - however, the lower rating is due to this company knowingly selling a broken item. We ended up buying the same scooter elsewhere. Our niece loves it . . . and it arrived in tact.

Pedro's Blowout Seat Bag Review

Pedro's Blowout Seat Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Good construction, but the large (55 cubic inches, I think) is too small for me. One tube and my portable multi-tool pretty much fill it up. It would be possible to add keys, money, etc., but forget about a portable pump or even something like a powerbar. It's OK for the kids driving around the neighborhood, but no more.
I just ordered the Topeak large bag, which is about twice the size. That should make me happier. I hope the construction is acceptable. The Pedro's bag is virtually indestructible (made from recycled mountain bike tubes) and has a strong zipper.
UPDATE: after a few months with the large bag, I'm stripping down what I carry. I haven't fully figured it out yet, but think I can squeeze a tube, mini-pump, tire levers, a few allen wrenches, a few alcohol wipes, and repair gloves into the blowout bag. I definitely had some "luxuries" in the large bag that I don't need to carry.
UPDATE 2: I have two bikes, each with the large blowout bag under the saddle. Each bag contains a tube, mini-pump, mini-toolkit, rubber gloves, and a few first aid supplies. On the rear of the bag, there is a place to hang a blinky light, and I do so. I carry powerbars (and other consumables) in my jersey pockets. If I have no problem on my ride, I don't open the bag. Haven't opened it in months; that's the goal :)

OnGuard Mastiff 5019 Bicycle Chain Lock Review

OnGuard Mastiff 5019 Bicycle Chain Lock
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The chain was cut using bolt-cutters in broad daylight on a busy street; this is no security whatsoever. I had two bikes locked to a street bike rack using the 5019. I bought the lock because of its reputation and the associated warranty (theoretically up to $3001 US).
The support from the distributor (Todson Inc./OnGuard Locks USA) has been appalling!
- It took four months and many, many calls (eliciting weak excuses for inactivity) before they came back with a cash offer of $750 - for a bike orginally discounted from $1800 to $1500 - that is less than 1 year old and in perfect condition. The second bike, although not stated in the warranty registration, is not covered at all because it is "a second bike attached to the same lock".
- In summary, the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.

Pedro's Downhill Bicycle Tire Lever Review

Pedro's Downhill Bicycle Tire Lever
Average Reviews:

I use Vittoria Randonneur Cross tires on my fixie and had broken a couple standard tire levers removing and trying to re-seat tires. This lever works beautifully. Pedro's DH lever's only downside is it's too big to fit in my saddlebag, but even though my last set of levers fit in my saddlebag, they didn't do much good for roadside repairs since they'd break removing and re-seating tires.

Pedro's Syn Lube Bicycle Chain Lubricant (12-Ounce) Review

Pedro's Syn Lube Bicycle Chain Lubricant (12-Ounce)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This oil is not like "maple syrup" as another reviewer stated. It's not even as viscous as typical 10w-40 automotive oil. It's definitely less thick and sticky than the typical lube that comes on new bikes. In summer 2009 I got a new low-cost mountain bike to ride as kind of a "beater," and a bunch of dirt, leaves, etc stuck to the chain on my first ride.
A good cleaning of the chain followed by an application of the Syn Lube was in order. The bottle has a nice tapered 'nozzle' to dispense the oil. Just it hold over the chain while cranking backward and squeeze lightly, the oil flows and coats the chain. Since doing this, in 3 months of riding, the chain is still relatively clean compared to one ride with the factory lube.

Bell Riderz Glitter Grill Handlebar Basket
Average Reviews:

This basket worked for a little while, but the straps that hold it onto the bike were the first thing to break. I assume the sun made them brittle. After putting a very small amount of weight in the basket (for about 6 mo), it started to unravel and fall apart, but held on for another few months after being revived with duct tape. Good product for a little girl who doesn't put more than a doll in it, or who will outgrow her bike in a year.

Mongoose Maxim Women's Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) Review

Mongoose Maxim Women's Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love my 7 yr old sister but she should never be given the task of engineering a bike and now I know the same is true for whoever designed this little gem. Let me start off by saying, prior to this purchase I have always been satisfied with all my Walmart, K-mart, Crapmart bikes I've owned over the years. It doesn't take much to satisfy me in the bike department so for me to rate a bike one star says a lot. My boyfriend put the bikes together (we also purchased the men's version of this exact bike). It took awhile to get the brakes adjusted just right but overall everything seemed alright. He got on first and as soon as he turned out of the parking lot I heard the sound of his foot skidding along the front tire. At first I thought his size 13 feet were the culprit, but then I got on my bike and sure enough my size 7s were sliding down the tire as well. Turns out that anytime you turn the bike the front tire comes within two inches of the front of the petal. So if you're someone who thinks their feet may hang at least two inches off the front of the petal don't buy this bike. It's almost as if the frame of the bike was designed for a child and then they just threw on adult tires, seats, and handle bars. Within 5 minutes on the bikes we both agreed these bikes must go back. I'm still baffled as to how these bikes passed the legal requirements required for bicycles. I don't know what the requirements are but dang! Talk about low standards! These bikes are a lawsuit waiting to happen. On the bright side, because I purchased these bikes from Amazon directly I got a full refund including shipping cost. Oh Amazon!... how I love you so...

Head deep into the great outdoors with the Mongoose Maxim women's 26-inch mountain bike. The Maxim is equipped with a full-suspension frame that maximizes comfort and performance, along with a suspension fork that smoothes bumps and increases control. The bike's linear pull brakes, meanwhile, provide sure stopping power on any terrain. Other features include 21-speed SRAM twist shifters, a Shimano rear derailleur, a three-piece crank, and lightweight alloy rims.
About Mongoose In 1974, BMX Products, Inc., later to be known as Mongoose Bicycles, launched from a humble garage. The first of its kind, the BMX bicycle was named after bicycle motocross and was designed to fit the needs of the rough-and-tumble dirt-racing pastime that took its toll on wheels and bicycles. The heavy-duty, one-piece cast-aluminum Mongoose Motomag wheel was soon born, and it was the first competition-ready BMX bicycle available. Skip Hess, while in Australia pursuing his motor sports passion, came into contact with a strange and unusual cat-size animal--the mongoose. Known for its passive nature while unprovoked, yet vicious and aggressive enough to kill a threatening Cobra twice its size, the Mongoose impressed Hess, who quickly registered the Mongoose trademark for his new bicycle racing frame.
The Expert BMX bicycle model, which is still a cornerstone of the Mongoose BMX line today, was introduced in 1980. Shortly after, Mongoose captured the first ever ABA National #1 Cruiser Title. Previously known for the 20-inch bicycle, this title signaled the re-direction of Mongoose bicycles to larger-wheeled, adult-sized models. Several years later, Mongoose continues to dominate the cruiser racing circuit with six National No. 1 Cruiser titles, leading to the introduction of adult-sized Mongoose all-terrain bicycles (ATBs).
In 1992, Mongoose pioneered the full-suspension market with the introduction of the Amplifier. This design is still the most-copied suspension design in the market. Several year later, Mongoose launched the Newman adult bicycle frame, which is proven to be 15% stronger than any other bike frame in the market. The design, while functionally sound, also raised eyebrows because of its distinctive look.
In the next few years, Mongoose increased its marketing focus to dominate the bicycle industry, and more important, extend beyond it. The Mongoose brand marketing initiative makes more than 100 million impressions. Mongoose's brand awareness increased by over 130% in 1999 and solidifies the No. 2 market share position in units and dollars. Mongoose was acquired by Pacific Cycle, LLC, and continues to grow and prosper with more than 40 models of BMX, mountain, trail, freestyle, jumping, comfort, road, and cyclocross bikes.

On Guard Bulldog Series U-Locks Review

On Guard Bulldog Series U-Locks
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The feature I love about this lock is that it comes with an LED flashlight on one of it's key for those times when you're cycling home at night, and it's dark, and when you fumble to unlock your bike (cos it's cold), you just .... can't... seem to... get.... the key.... in.... arrrghhhh!! but now at least you can see where the hole is and you can insert the key with ease.
The lock is also very well designed in that you can't turn the key unless you've got the key all the way in properly. this helps prevent damage to the lock (and to the key) when you try and force the key to turn without inserting it fully. (although on the first day i got it i thought the lock was jammed. turns out i inserted the key at a wrong angle) it also comes with a lock holder for your bike so that you can attach your lock to it when you're riding too.
it's only rated 2 stars for security, but no one's ever tried to steal my bike but i think having this lock around makes them not want to try. or maybe because my bike is a cheap piece of junk. definitely much more effective than a cable lock. plus onguard has some kinda insurance thing if your bike gets stolen while it's locked with this lock, which provides some additional peace of mind i suppose.
finally, you get free shipping because it's a shade over $25. all in all a satisfactory product. 5 stars.

Amazon's title for this bike is in error. This is a LADIES NIRVE ULTRALINER (Sage Green). I am 55 years old and haven't ridden a bike in 20 years. I decided to get back into it and started to do my research. This Nirve Ultraliner was my choice, mainly for the 3 speed auto shifting. This bike is amazing!! It rides so smooth and is very easy to pedal. The auto shifting is perfect! The very first time up the long hill outside my house, I made it easily without stopping!! The only thing I will be changing is the seat. It is a bit too narrow for my comfort. For people who just want to cruise, this is the bike for you!!!!!

Own: Mongoose Estes ($200)
In: Boston, MA
This lock packs a punch, and a lot more of one than I expected.
After shopping around for locks for my new bike, I was a bit weary of which one was the 'best'. Not one person could seem to come to a conclusion, so I bought this one. When the package arrived, I was stunned at how heavy it was. It wasn't back breaking, but at the same time, it didn't feel like a box of pasta.
SO it's great, because it's heavy duty, but not very heavy. There is also a mounting clip that comes with it that works great, so you don't have to carry it in your bag.
Be aware, this is a MINI lock, so it's not very long. This can create an inconvenience sometimes, but it is even tougher than the long ones, so it's a good sacrifice.
My bike hasn't been stolen so far, and I've gotten complements from other cyclists on the lock, so it's a five star rating EXCEPT...The bar doesn't go all the way into the base sometimes, so it can feel a bit loose (but like I said, it hasn't been stolen yet...)
Overall a GREAT lock for it's value! Would recommend it to any cyclist!

Since it gets to 110+ in the summer here, I definitely needed sun protection as I zip to church, grocery, etc at 10-12 mph. The Shade-to-Go is a great help for survial in the constant sun, inexpensive (around $40), fairly simple to attach, very seeable by and useable. The excellent quick shipping and service from Niagra Cycling added to the experience. Now I'm planning on adding some fringe to my very visible cute surry
