(More customer reviews)It's difficult to find and decent white wall beach cruiser bicycle tire that lasts. When receiving these tires I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were well constructed. Having installed this tire on my bicycle and after riding it for a few days it split at the rim and tore causing the tube to bulge out. Having contacted Amazon.com about this without hesitation they overnighted me a replacement that while inflating to just below the recommended inflation pressure exploded. Then having contacted Amazon.com customer service again about this they immediately without hesitation provided me a full refund.
This season my local Wal-Mart has been stocking the Bell brand white wall 26" beach cruiser bicycle tire for $13.98 and I purchased that as the replacement over a month ago and it has held up much better then this one or the Kendra tires.
Huffy manufactures a decent white wall tire that they use to assemble their line of bicycles and has more traction than those commonly in the market but they don't offer them for sale as an after market item.
My disappointed me here is not necessarily with the service of Amazon but with the Nirve product itself.
